McDavid opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first period, and he assisted on goals by Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman in the second period. Draisaitl added an empty-net goal in the third period to seal the win.

Mike Smith made 27 saves for the Oilers, who have now won four straight games. Tristan Jerry made 30 saves for the Penguins, who have lost three straight games.
