Bundesliga 2018/19: FC Bayern Munich wins the DFB Cup

Robert Lewandowski's brace helped Bayern Munich win the DFB-Pokal for the 19th time following a 3-0 win over RB Leipzig in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday.

The Polish striker opened the scoring in the 29th minute, before Serge Gnabry doubled the lead just before the hour mark. Lewandowski added his second of the game in the 85th minute to seal the victory for Bayern.

The win means Bayern have now won the DFB-Pokal for the fifth time in the past six years. It is also the club's first major trophy under new coach Niko Kovac.

Leipzig, who were appearing in their first DFB-Pokal final, gave a good account of themselves but were ultimately outclassed by a more experienced Bayern side.
